Offline marketing gurus, publishers and success coach like Jay
Abraham, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Robert
Kiyosaki, Dr. Ralph Wilson and Robert Allen, among others, are
likewise riding the wave of opportunity Internet has to offer. If
Wallace Wattles, Robert Colliers, John Caples, William Shakespeare,
Arthur Conan Doyle, Arthur Miller, T.S. Elliot and Mark Twain
were alive today, their influence could have caused a shockwave in
the online publishing arena. They are very much aware of the
opportunity internet has to offer. It has market much much bigger
than the Economics of China and India combined. You have the whole
world in your hand. Amazing, isn't?

Enough for the intro. Today, i will be
discussing an analogy about a newbies entering the Internet
Marketing industry and why they are failing. Industry source figures
that more than 95 percent of new marketers aren't doing it right
(read: don't make a single red cent). Some have been in online
marketing business for more than 2 years - - and yet, haven't made a
single Clickbank® and Paypal sale, and they are deeply in debt.
Sounds familiar? It is the reality, it is happening and it is the
factual truth of what's happening behind the industry.
If you are new to this industry, please read the whole story. We
often heard gurus tell us not to reinvent the wheel and to follow
working concepts that are working, etc. They are right and most
often, they are interpreted otherwise. Most of us just don't get the
message. Why? Because we though we already know it and we don't need
their advise, yet, keep on doing what majority out there are doing.

Let's take the case of John. He
just graduated months back and now working hard to secure a
comfortable position so he can enjoy life in his twilight years. But
John is impatient. He hates the daily commute, the 9 to 5
dreaded job and most of all -- having a nagging boss who always
notice his slight mistakes. Is the scenario sounds familiar? Yes it
is -- unless your family name is Gates, Buffet, Trump or Rockefeller
:-(( too bad none-of-the-above.......
Let's follow John's tactical plan. He
decided to look for an opportunity and search the internet for any
money making opportunity.
He found out that it is possible to make money online and the
best thing to do, for a start, is to be an affiliate marketer. John
can sell hundreds of other peoples products as an associate and earn
a cut in earning from the sales. He is very enthusiastic about this
affiliate marketing and even thought of buying Terry Dean's "Internet
X Factor" and Ewen Chia's "Secret
Affiliate Weapon" ebook but he is in doubt as he don't know
anything about them. Are they for real? Are they really making more
than $20,000 per month from internet home business?
He is confused and has no
idea where to start. Earlier on, he met a guy online that offered
him a key to a red briefcase. The briefcase contains a million
dollars and he can have the money inside provided he (John) find the
key, open the briefcase and he can take away the money.
My word of caution!! : Caveat
Emptor (let the buyer's beware). If it is too good to be true, it
probably is. Always exercise caution when dealing online.

John did not act on it because :
1) He didn't know the guy and he don't trust him; and
2) He don't know where to search for and find the key;
Obstacle #1
: He didn't know the guy and he don't trust him
Solution : Familiarize yourself with
the marketer's personas working online. Register to their newsletter
if any and join the
warriors forums. You can ask anything under the sun and there
are marketers out there who will advise and give you some bits and
pieces of information. Don't be afraid to ask. For a start, maybe
you can post a new topic like : Who is Terry Dean? You'll be
surprised with the warriors' contribution and information. Give it a
try.
Now that you are familiar with some of the guy's name (aka the
marketer), search and research about his product and services. Join
his newsletter and learn from him. One option is to search google
with query text like :
Who is "Terry Dean?" and you
will be directed to link to his
product, ads, affiliate links, joint venture programs, etc. It
is a good starting point.
Obstacle #2 : He don't know
where to search and find the key (information)
Solution :
The Key here is the "information". Other than the forum, you need
other resources to help you in your journey. Inside my pages, i have

Download and read all the resources you can get and learn from it.
Learn everything by heart and treat it as a business exploration
that you need to focus and concentrate to achieve your desired
long term objective and goal.
